![]() ![]() this one will be more open for discussion the other will be more just to document the outcomes. I open the thread for thoughts and discussion as this goes. Below are a few links to the nutrient makers sites and a link on the strain being used. mother plant shots, pics of clones, grow area setup, and images of the nutrient line ups and additives I will be using. I will post up as I go images which until we get rolling may not be the most exciting i.e. The buckets will be filled with hydroton balls and the clones will be cut and placed in 4x4 in rock wool cubes. I will have one carbon filter inside the tent scrubbing the air via a squirrel cage type fan. ![]() There will be one 6 inch inline fan bring fresh air into the tent running 24/7. I will run 2 6 inch clip on fans in the tent moving the air around along with 2 standard box fans at either end keeping air under and through the canopy fresh. I will keep an air stone going in the res with a 4 inch round bubble stone and a small 250GPH pump inside to just keep the solution moving and mixed. The resivoir will be a 55 gallon drum filled with straight tap water maintained at a ph of 5.5 to no more then 5.8. I will be using open reflectors in this setup along with CO2 injections during flower. The lighting will be 2 600 watt Lumatek digital Dimmable ballasts and 1 400 watt Lumatek Dimmable digital ballast in between for total of 1600 watts. The buckets are 2 gallon buckets set to flood 4 times daily, 2 floods lights on 2 lights off. I'll be using a 4x8 tent setup with my own DIY 18 buckets Ebb n Gro setup. The plan is to run the comparisons in the same setup maybe if I can using 2 exact same setup so I can do more comparisons and side by side shots. She was created by crossing Papas Candy x Monster. She has won awards and has a great looking lineage. It's from Eva Seeds called Veneno, translate Poison or Venom, which is an 85% indica 15% sativa mix. The first strain I will run with will be new for me to grow to. I am now just getting my new mothers to the point they will give me some new clones. It will take a me a minute to get every set to go and actually in grow. I have decided for this first round I will be putting Blue Planet Nutrients up against Humboldt Nutrients, not to be confused with Humboldt County's Own line of nutrients as we will get to them eventually. Some I will have used and will just be comparing a new line against a familiar lineup. This time I I have a few new line ups that I'm excited to take a look at. I have shown some in the past like Fox Farm,Dutch Master,Miracle Grow, and some others. Basically I like to try new lines of nutrients I come across in the ever eternal search for the best all around nutrients. So what I will be doing is now that i have some time is to do a bit of Nutrient comparison grows. Please let us know if you have any questions or need assistance with anything.Ok boys and girls as I will do from time to time I like to run some comparison journals on products I use or am trying. Your garden looking its best helps us look our best. We have a loyal gang of customers who have been with us for years and are constantly picking up new friends along the way. With nothing more than quality products and word of mouth from satisfied customers, Blue Planet Nutrients has quickly grown from a dream in a garage, to a top contender in the plant nutrient industry. What's inside the bottle is what counts, not the marketing around it. I jumped on the opportunity to help continue what my friend started - to be able to hook people up with quality fertilizer at low prices and save them from these big, over-priced, nutrient lines with redundant products and fancy labels - plain and simple. I know what I would do, and it's what I did because all this happened to me. Bummer! But wait! He needs you to come on board to help out. The demand for the nutrients got so wild he started selling it in order to be able to afford to keep making it for everybody! But then your skilled plant scientist friend tells you his regular job as a plant scientist has him too busy to keep up with his nutrient business. Meanwhile, everyone else he supplies is getting those same great results. So you put his nutrients to good use for a few years, having great results. Things are looking better than they have ever looked. Imagine he gives you some of his expert concoction and within a few feedings your garden explodes! The plants start packing on weight and bulking up in no time. Someone who developed his own fertilizers for use in his garden and selected the finest ingredients, calculating the exact amounts of each component to make sure his plants would have optimal nutrition during each stage of the plant's life from seedling to harvest. Imagine if you had a friend who is a skilled chemist and plant scientist. ![]()
